SEP 23, 2026 Adopt A Village Fundraiser
About the Program
The Adopt a Village Program is a partnership between the Rotary Club of Calgary Downtown and local Rotary clubs in Uganda, working together to uplift rural communities facing systemic challenges, including limited access to clean water, low agricultural productivity, widespread poverty, and environmental degradation.
Rather than offering short-term aid, the program delivers integrated and sustainable solutions across four key areas: agriculture, water access, clean energy, and environmental conservation. By working directly within communities, the program creates meaningful, lasting change that benefits households, schools, and entire villages for generations to come.

Join us at the historic Ranchmen's Club in person, or attend virtually from anywhere. However you choose to take part, we'd be delighted to welcome you.
Give directly to the program and put your support behind lasting change. Every contribution funds clean water, livestock, and training for families in rural Uganda.

A PROVEN MODEL, GROWING STRONGER
Each village project builds on the last. Our pass-on model, where families transfer livestock offspring to the next household, extends impact far beyond the grant period.
