Our Service
The Rotary Club of Calgary supports local and international communities.
International service is provided through its International portfolio. Programs include World Community Service, International Student Exchange, and the Curly Galbraith Memorial Fund. We also support the Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology (CAWST).
Local Service is provided through the Community Service and Youth portfolios.
Community Service supports the community through:
- Volunteering for Feed the Homless
- Supporting Adult Literacy
- Distributing Christmas Hampers
- Hosting a Senior's social in East Village
- Create meaningful employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities through the Rotary Employment Partnership
- Fundraising for the Poppy Fund
- Fundraising for the Lou MacEachern Fund
- Providing small donations to local organizations in need
- Supporting local organizations by catering breakfasts and small BBQs.
The Youth portfolio supports youth through:

- RYPEN (Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment)

- INTERACT (Western Canada High School based)
- Western Canada High School Scholarship
- Music Scholarship
